#DreamTeam Linky – Week 52

Hello!  Welcome to the #DreamTeam linky party, hosted by the lovely Annette & Bridget, and myself.

I think most of us are back to normality this week after the Easter hols?  We live on the border of two different education authorities that have had different school holidays, so we have enjoyed three weeks of Easter holiday shenanigans.  There have been a lot of farm visits, bouncy castle antics, egg hunts and chocolate munching sessions.  Oh and the Easter Bunny very kindly brought us two new DVDs – Trolls and Moana.  Both of which have been played on a continuous loop ever since. (Even when the kids are in bed.  I can’t help it.  I love them!)

My next BritMums Poetry & Prose Round-up will be going live shortly and I’m delighted to be able to include some fab pieces by some of you lovely #DreamTeam linkers!  Please keep sharing your poetry posts with myself and Victoria.  You can tweet us – @rhymingwithwine and @VicWelton with the hashtag #BritMumsPoetry.  Victoria will be preparing her next post to share early in June.

In the meantime let’s do some linky…

#DREAMTEAM LINKY DETAILS

#DreamTeam will go live every Tuesday morning from 6am and will close Thursday evening at 9pm.

You can link up to 2 posts, old or new.

By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.

Each of us will choose 2 posts to feature every week, and our featured bloggers will get their very own prestigious #DreamTeam featured badge.

MY FAVOURITE POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:

Thorny Lullaby – When Daddy Leaves…

Oh this one made me chortle.  My two are also incredible gifted at the art of personality switching the second they see their dad walk out of the door.  I literally snorted at some of the antics that were described here.  I won’t say more for fear of stealing any thunder but go and have a nosy if you missed it.  It’s fab!

Speaking of daddies, my second fave was:

The Stented Papa – Our Wedding.

Ross is one of our regular linkers and I’ve enjoyed reading so many fab posts by himself and his lovely Missus Mel. (They make a brill blogging double act!)  This post in particular is one that I have been waiting to read for a while as they’ve just got married!!  (Not just once either – two times!)  Their wedding day sounds incredible and so unique.  I watched the videos with aching cheeks from all of the grinning.  Congratulations to you both from us all at #DreamTeam!

Don’t forget to pop by and check out the featured posts from Annette and Bridget too.

  1. I’m loving the linky and all of the stories being shared but I’m struggling with those that need a google account to comment. I write my reply and then sign in and more often than not it’s gone. Or it doesn’t seem to work as the comments disappear. What am I doing wrong?

    1. Hmmm. It might just be that your comment needs to be approved by the site owner? Although I remember having issues with Google commenting too when I first started. In the end I set up a Google Plus account in “Rhyming with Wine” with my RWW email address. I’ve been ok since? If ever I can’t comment I just try and drop the person a tweet to say that I’ve popped by but that my comment hadn’t saved? More often than not they then find me in their spam file! 😉 xx
