#DreamTeam Linky – Week 76

Welcome to your weekly fix of  autumnal #DreamTeam linky action!  Hosted by Annette of 3 Little Buttons, Bridget of Bridie By The Sea and myself.  Grab yourselves a cuppa (pumpkin spice is optional but of course mandatory) and we hope you enjoy!

This week my linked host post is actually a sneak preview of an exciting venture that I’ve been working on for some time now with my blogging buddy and friend “in real life” Gemma of Colleyswobbles.  Gemma had an amazing idea for a children’s story and is a very talented illustrator, so when she asked me if I might like to do a bit of rhyming I kind of bit her hand off.  And the rest they say, is history! Wobbles and Rhyme is our brand new site and my linked post today is our story of how Wobbles and Rhyme came about, with a little peak at our first cheeky character – Bob.  It’s a work in progress for now, but we hope you’ll join us as we embark on an adventure into children’s picture book creation.  Wish us luck!

MY FAVOURITE POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:

9 Lessons I’ve Learned as a Parent – Mummy Wales

I think that my littles are of a similar age to Nicola’s and so the baby years are now behind us too.  So many of these 9 points had me nodding along frantically in agreement. I defy any parent not to grin at number 6, and number 9 also left me with a very happy little soundtrack in my head for the rest of the evening.  Definitely worth a read if you missed it.

2 Months – Living With Lennon

To call this post one of my favourites feels very inappropriate.  It is actually one of the most heartbreaking posts that I’ve ever read and I sat with tears pouring down my face and my hand over my mouth as I read.  I am new to this blog and found myself reading back through older posts as I had to learn more about Lennon and his family’s story.  Every now and then we read a post that genuinely moves us to our very core.  This was that post for me.  I’m featuring it today with love and absolute respect to a very brave family.

#DREAMTEAM LINKY RULES

If you are new to linkies I have written a separate post with all of the how-to stuff here which might be handy.

  • Badge up. Please do add the #DreamTeam badge or text link to each post that you link up. You can do this by copying and pasting the badge code into the text/HTML area of your post within your publishing platform.

Rhyming with Wine
  • Tweet it. Share your posts on Twitter using the linky hashtag #DreamTeam and tag in Annette, Bridie and I for retweets using @3_LittleButtons @BridieByTheSea and @rhymingwithwine.
  • Let’s get this party started. Please comment on one of each of the host’s posts, so that will be one of Annette’s posts, one of Bridget’s posts and one of mine. Please also comment on the post directly before yours.

We hosts love to share your post with our twitter followers and it really helps us to do this if you have sharing buttons and your twitter handle available.  If you’re not sure how to do this Annette has written a great post about how to make your posts shareable on twitter here.

IF YOU CAN COMMENT ON MORE… THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

  • Finally, it would be really lovely if you could follow, like and subscribe to our social media channels.
