HAPPY NEW YEAR DREAMTEAMERS!
I hope you all had the most amazing time over the holidays! It already feels like forever ago and I never thought I’d say this, but much as I love Christmas, I’m getting a strange kind of happiness from seeing the patch of carpet that was buried under the tree for the first time in a month. The elves have been dispatched back to the North Pole for another year *breathes sigh of relief* and we still have enough chocolate to keep us going until Halloween. (Who am I kidding? It’ll be gone by the end of next week!)
I’m linking up a vintage post from last year, which is still just as relevant to me this new year. Apparently I never learn? So here’s to 2018! I hope that it’s an amazing year for you all and that it brings you everything you wish for.
Here’s the link up and how it works:
#DREAMTEAM LINKY RULES
1. Add one post to the #DreamTeam linky, which goes live every Tuesday morning at 6am and will close on Thursday at 9pm.
2. Add the #DreamTeam linky badge or a text link to the bottom of your linked up post. If you are adding this to a side/bottom bar or linky page, please do ensure this is clear to avoid being missed out of commenting.
4. Please comment on each of the hosts linked posts PLUS the post directly before your own (a total of 4 posts as a minimum). If the post before your own does not carry the #DreamTeam badge or text link, you are not required to leave a comment.
5. Optional. Get into the party spirit and tweet/add comments to any additional posts you have really enjoyed. Other bloggers are more likely to return the favour if you do! It’s a #winwin all round. As hosts, we will aim to retweet your posts again as we read them, as long as you have included your twitter handle in your sharing buttons.
*By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.
If you are new to linkies I have written a separate post with all of the how-to stuff here which might be handy.
NICOLA’S FAVOURITE POSTS FROM WEEK 86:
Nicola stepped in host for me on our last linky. Here are her favourite posts and why she loved them:
“My first festive favourite was Wanting to Believe by Thirsty Daddy. I think sometimes we all need to believe. In ourselves, in the people around us, in miracles. And perhaps we should take a leaf out of our kiddywinks’ books from time to time and put our faith in something that isn’t tangible and trust that it’ll pay off?
My second favourite, and I know that she’ll be massively blushing as she has to post this on her own blog, was Dear Santa by our very own Dawn of Rhyming with Wine! As someone who this year had to make a Wiggles outfit for Baby Lighty to go with the already owned guitar and microphone, I am hearing this, quite literally, loud and clear!!!”
Thanks so much for that Nic! *Blushes and shuffles feet awkwardly* *Blows kiss* x
