Hi and welcome to the #FartGlitter linky!

Fab to see you all – hope that the summer holidays are treating you well?

Just a little note to say that I will be steering this #FartGlitter ship all by myself next week while The Mama begins her adventures in Spain.  Please do pop by this way to link up still.  I’ll be doing my very best not to break #FartGlitter.  Or the internet! 😉

To mark the remaining three weeks of summer and as a little gift for all you lovely peeps that link up with us, The Mama has managed to get her paws on some fabulous goodies which she has kindly agreed to offer up as a prize for one of our linkers!  All you need to do is click on the rafflecopter below to enter.  Good luck!

So, back to business…

#FartGlitter is the place to link up your parenting themed posts.  Old or new, funny, moving, honest, ranty… you get the idea! It is hosted by the fabulous Mama from My Kid Doesn’t Poop Rainbows, and I’m now her co-host.  (Just think of her as the magician, and I’m like the assistant.  Only slightly less glamorous. And wearing jeggings).

The #FartGlitter linky will go live at 6.00am GMT every Monday until 11.55pm Wednesday.  We want you to share the love, laughter, tears, snot and poop!  Whatever you’ve got – bring it! We’re ready for you!

My favourite post from last week was Expectations and Definitions by Roots and Wings Parenting.  I could absolutely relate to this as I often think about our “new normal” (and shake my head in disbelief! 😉 )  Brilliant post!  Please check it out if you haven’t already.

The Mama’s favourite post was Life Before Mama Bear by S_AND_B_MAMA2015 A genuinely funny post that I couldn’t fail to agree with on every single count!

Here’s what to do…

  • Add up to two posts to the Inlinkz link.
  • Please grab the badge and stick it at the bottom of your post.
  • Please swing by and comment on each of the two host posts, the one immediately before yours and one you’ve chosen at random, or boost your blog karma and comment on more if you can :-)
  • Tag your comments with #FartGlitter so people know where you’re coming from.
  • Tweet @pooprainbowmama & @rhymingwithwine if you’d like us to share your link with our followers.

If you’re new and haven’t done a linky yet the lovely Cuddle Fairy has written a great instruction post.  It would also be a huge help to The Mama and I if you had your twitter handle visible on your blog and share buttons available so that we can share your post with our followers.  If you’re not sure how to do this you might find this brilliant post from Annette at 3 Little Buttons helpful too.  If you get stuck don’t be shy, send me a tweet and I’ll see if I can help.

Please remember to add the badge…

  1. I received one of those nappy cakes & a few homemade blankets and mini cardigans. Was such a lovely little gift!

    1. Oh no! I’ve probably broken it somehow – you know what I’m like! Thanks so much for letting me know though. I’ll have a look and see if I can spot any problems (which I shall then swear at profusely to see if it fixes it 😂). x

  2. My best friend made a beautiful hamper full of everything you would need for a newborn for me. Bless her she had been making it up bit by bit from the day she found out I was expecting. Needless to say I was chuffed to bits. X

  3. I was given a personalised Noahs Ark Blanket from my work colleagues for my son, my little girls due in 2 weeks 1 day and my mum has knitted some pretty pink girly hats :~) x

  4. The best baby gift I have given is probably the blanket I gave to my sister for her baby (who is now two years old, growing up too quickly!). Thank you for the lovely giveaway xxx

  5. My niece absolutely loved the bag of baby clothes we got her from the car boot sale. We paid far less than we should have done even going on the prices the seller asked for and she then said you can have the rest for £5. My niece was over the moon. The clothes had hardly been worn and when Phoenix grew out of them, they were still good enough to pass on again. Proof that you don’t have to spend a lot of clothes when they are babies as they grow so quickly.

  6. my son had a tommee tippee perfect prep machine and it was one of the best things we ever bought made night time bottles so much more bearable

  7. At my baby shower my Mum had put me together a little hamper of all the basics I would need. Cotton wool balls, top and tail tubs, sudocrem, bottles, bibs, flannels, water wipes, nappies etc. It was a godsend.

Thanks for the chance. Would love to win for my son and baby number two.

  8. The best was isotonic drinks, jelly babies, a new dressing gown, dvd box set and a big box of chocolates. Was perfect for all the hours sitting feeding. Gave me a little boost.
