#DreamTeam Linky Week 41

Hi!  Welcome to the #DreamTeam linky party, hosted by the lovely Annette & Bridie, and myself.

I have some very exciting news to share this week (well I think it’s exciting but then I suppose I might be biased?) Nope.  Not pregnant.  I am however slightly giddy to announce that I am now the new co-editor of the BritMums Poetry & Prose Round-ups along with the lovely Victoria Welton of Verily Victoria Vocalises.

It comes with a touch of sadness as I am to replace the lovely Maddy of  Writing Bubble, as she has other exciting ventures to work on at the moment.  (Those are some seriously fabulous shoes to try and fill Maddy!)  However I cannot wait to start collecting your brilliant poetry and prose posts ready to feature in my first round-up at the beginning of March.  Of course #DreamTeam is always packed with fantastic pieces that make me chuckle and sometimes have a bit of an emotional moment, and so I know that this linky will be one of the best places for me to start my search!  That being said though, Annette, Bridget and I share the reading and commenting between us, and so please don’t be afraid to give me a little nudge or tweet if you have recently written an original piece of poetry or prose that you would like me to have a nosy at, just in case I happen to miss it otherwise.

Thanks in advance!

#DreamTeam will go live every Tuesday morning from 6am and will close Thursday evening at 9pm.

You can link up to 2 posts, old or new.

By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.

Each of us will choose 2 posts to feature every week, and our featured bloggers will get their very own prestigious #DreamTeam featured badge.

Lucy At Home – The Big Secret Pinterest-Perfect Mums Can’t Tell You.

We all know that “Pinterest Mum” with her perfect lip-liner and her home baked quinoa cookies… Well did you know that she has a secret? Lucy explains all in this touching post which actually made me stop in my tracks for a second and think about things a little differently.  Definitely worth a visit if you missed it last week.

Naptime Natter – Mental Health After Pregnancy – It Is Time I Came Clean.

This post literally broke my heart.  Wendy is someone that I have followed and admired since I started blogging 18 months ago now, and I have watched her beautiful family grow, and consider her to be a lovely bloggy friend as I’m sure so many of us do.  In this post she opens up about how she is feeling after having her gorgeous second baby boy, and shares her story with such beautiful, raw honesty.  So much love to you for writing this Wendy and please know that you aren’t alone in how you are feeling.  Thank you for sharing it with us.

  1. Dawn, you said “give me a little nudge or tweet if you have recently written an original piece of poetry or prose that you would like me to have a nosy at.” Well, I post brilliant prose every week 😀 but never poetry! Love reading yours! Congratulations on the new gig. Hope it works out well for you.
