#DreamTeam Linky Week 48

Hello!  Welcome to the #DreamTeam linky party, hosted by the lovely Annette & Bridget, and myself.

I couldn’t start this post without first paying a few words of respect.  We in the UK have faced a tragic week as we of course witnessed the terrible events in London on Wednesday.  My heart goes out to all those people that have been so devastatingly impacted.  Also to our incredible security forces for their dedication and sadly in this instance, for their terrible loss.   So many of our linkers and readers are based in and around London, including our own hosts Annette and Bridget.  What has inspired me beyond words though is the strength and determination everyone has shown to stand united, and to refuse to let these events hold them back.

My thoughts are with you all.

#DreamTeam linky is back with myself, Annette and Bridget this week.   I’d just like to give a big heap of #bloglove to Nicola at All Things Spliced, for stepping in to co-host #DreamTeam last week while I was on holiday.  You can find Nicola’s featured favourites from last week further down the page here too!  Congratulations to you both!

#DreamTeam will go live every Tuesday morning from 6am and will close Thursday evening at 9pm.

You can link up to 2 posts, old or new.

By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.

Each of us will choose 2 posts to feature every week, and our featured bloggers will get their very own prestigious #DreamTeam featured badge.

No favourites from me this week as I was on holiday, but Mrs Lighty chose the following two posts and says the following:

My first favourite of my #DreamTeam guest co-host stint is Is this Really It? by Raw Mum. I remember those feeling so well from when we were trying (and usually failing!) to make Baby Lighty, and I could just feel the hope springing from the page as I wrote it. Keeping everything crossed for you Raw Mum and I hope to be reading some pregnancy related posts if I’m lucky to guest co-host for #DreamTeam again in the near future!

My second favourite post is Putting Myself Out There by Surrey Mama. I could really relate to what Sarah was saying in her post. It’s often the case that if you do put yourself out there in the form of a blog – or even if you’re confident in other areas of your life – you’re thought to be super-confident, or imaginative, or creative, or a whole host of other things. But just like Sarah, I often find myself crippled with self-doubt and second guessing myself. This is a post for any blogger that might feel like they’re not quite good enough under the surface; I can reassure you that you are!!

Don’t forget to pop by and check out the featured posts from Annette and Bridget of course too.

  1. I was so distressed to learn of the tragedy in London. Though such events are horrible in any city, London is my favourite city in all the world so the news really struck me. I hope you enjoyed your time away. Thank you for hosting. I’m starting my hop with your latest poem!

    1. Hi Jean. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. It’s just been so devastating to see, and I’m quite sheltered from it as I don’t live anywhere near London. My heart just goes out to everyone affected and like you, I think that London is such a fabulous city. Thanks again lovely. I’ll look forward to reading your post xx
