Hi! Welcome to the #DreamTeam bloggers linky – hosted this week by Annette of 3 Little Buttons, Nicola of All Things Spliced and myself. How was half term? Most schools in the UK were off last week but we like to be a bit different apparently. My two bundles of fun will no doubt be tearing about creating mischief with me while you read this! We’ve been looking forward to some time together as the school routine definitely calls for a much needed break every now and then. But still…Wish me luck! (Oh and please send all of the cake!)
Thank you to everyone that joined in with us last week. Here’s your link up, and for those of you that are new to #DreamTeam – Welcome!
Here’s how it works:
#DREAMTEAM LINKY RULES
We think that #DreamTeam is a brilliant place to link up each week, and it’s all down to YOU! The fab people that join in and share the bloglove to make this the friendly and welcoming community that it is. If that isn’t motivation enough, our host Annette shares 10 brilliant reasons to join in here!
1. Add one post to the #DreamTeam linky, which goes live every Tuesday morning at 6am and will close on Thursday at 9pm.
2. Add the #DreamTeam linky badge or a text link to the bottom of your linked up post. If you are adding this to a side/bottom bar or linky page, please do ensure this is clear to avoid being missed out of commenting.
4. Please comment on each of the hosts linked posts PLUS the post directly before your own (a total of 4 posts as a minimum). If the post before your own does not carry the #DreamTeam badge or text link, you are not required to leave a comment.
5. Optional. Get into the party spirit and tweet/add comments to any additional posts you have really enjoyed. Other bloggers are more likely to return the favour if you do! It’s a #winwin all round. As hosts, we will aim to retweet your posts again as we read them, as long as you have included your twitter handle in your sharing buttons.
*By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.
If you are new to linkies I have written a separate post with all of the how-to stuff here which might be handy.
MY FAVOURITE POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:
“The internet is full of posts telling us to ‘be nice’ to ourselves. Make time for ‘yourself’ (with a big caramel latte!). I’m making excuses now but the temptation of the treat cupboard is all too much when one kid is screaming at your feet while you wash up last night’s dinner dishes and the other is having a completely different meltdown because he doesn’t want to watch the programme he requested two minutes prior.”
Mrs C I hear you! I spend far too much time poking at my wobbly bits that now try to escape over the top of my standard mum-jeggings. It’s like all of the cake is trying to break for freedom? And just why do kids’ treats always taste so flippin good! Brilliantly relatable. Here’s to a good old mummy meltdown. Because we’re all worth it!
Ps. Mrs C – You’re flippin’ gorgeous just as you are!
Megan had me chortling all the way through this with her “sampling of reasons I have semi-permanent winter stink face.” Most of us in the UK have pretty mild winters but I could still absolutely “get” so much of this post. Anything colder than tepid drizzle and I want to hide under a blanket on the sofa, but I love the determination in this post! Megan is my new John Snow! Winter needs to watch its back is all I’m saying! 😉
