Yay! March is here at last! #TheBeastFromTheEast has finally shuffled off and we can get back to stocking up on choccy eggs! On a serious note though, hope that all of you stayed safe and warm last week. I don’t know how you’re all feeling but I for one am ready for a bit of sunshine now. That and #DreamTeam of course ;-). This week the party comes to you courtesy of Annette of 3 Little Buttons, Heather of Shank You Very Much and myself! Boots off now, kettles on…
Here’s the link up and how it works:
#DREAMTEAM LINKY RULES
We think that #DreamTeam is a brilliant place to link up each week, and it’s all down to YOU! The fab people that join in and share the bloglove to make this the friendly and welcoming community that it is. If that isn’t motivation enough, our host Annette shares 10 brilliant reasons to join in here!
1. Add one post to the #DreamTeam linky, which goes live every Tuesday morning at 6am and will close on Thursday at 9pm.
2. Add the #DreamTeam linky badge or a text link to the bottom of your linked up post. If you are adding this to a side/bottom bar or linky page, please do ensure this is clear to avoid being missed out of commenting.
4. Please comment on each of the hosts linked posts PLUS the post directly before your own (a total of 4 posts as a minimum). If the post before your own does not carry the #DreamTeam badge or text link, you are not required to leave a comment.
5. Optional. Get into the party spirit and tweet/add comments to any additional posts you have really enjoyed. Other bloggers are more likely to return the favour if you do! It’s a #winwin all round. As hosts, we will aim to retweet your posts again as we read them, as long as you have included your twitter handle in your sharing buttons.
*By linking up, you are giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.
If you are new to linkies I have written a separate post with all of the how-to stuff here which might be handy.
MY FAVOURITE POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:
Love it or loathe it, you would be hard pushed to miss that it was World Book Day in the UK last week. For the first time in forever (I challenge you to not be singing in a Disney tone of voice right now.) I managed to pull together a costume for each of my two a record 3 weeks ahead of schedule! This was of course totally foiled when both school and nursery were closed due to the snow. That’ll teach me to be organised! On a serious note though this post absolutely struck a chord with me. I have nothing against dressing up, but the statistics in this post really shocked me. Let’s just say that I’ll be finding a much better use for my costume money next year!
Every mum needs to read this post. In this crazy world of social media pressure and hefty price tags, Sophie shares some of the most precious reasons that our little ones love us, and what it is that we do that makes us the very best mums that we all are. I think this is the mother’s day present that I needed more than anything this year. Just beautiful.
And on that note, wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the #DreamTeam mums. Special wishes go out to those of you who will be celebrating with your own mums too. Our thoughts are also with those of you who’s mums are not here in person, but are still very much held in heart. xx
