Hellooo! Is anyone else up to their knees in fluffy chicks, bonnets and glitter carrots? I mean glitter carrots? Who even knew they were a thing? This is our first Easter with a little one in school and we are awash with pastel paints and shredded tissue, ready to skip through a week of chocolate raffles, Easter fetes and Bonnet competitions. To all of those out there doing the same – wishing you lots of luck and I hope the bunny brings you an extra box of something yummy! Wishing all of you a lovely Easter break!
Here’s the link up and how it works:
#DREAMTEAM LINKY RULES
We think that #DreamTeam is a brilliant place to link up each week, and it’s all down to YOU! The fab people that join in and share the bloglove to make this the friendly and welcoming community that it is. If that isn’t motivation enough, our host Annette shares 10 brilliant reasons to join in here!
1. Add one post to the #DreamTeam linky, which goes live every Tuesday morning at 6am and will close on Thursday at 9pm.
2. Add the #DreamTeam linky badge or a text link to the bottom of your linked up post. If you are adding this to a side/bottom bar or linky page, please do ensure this is clear to avoid being missed out of commenting.
4. Please comment on each of the hosts linked posts PLUS the post directly before your own (a total of 4 posts as a minimum). If the post before your own does not carry the #DreamTeam badge or text link, you are not required to leave a comment.
5. Optional. Get into the party spirit and tweet/add comments to any additional posts you have really enjoyed. Other bloggers are more likely to return the favour if you do! It’s a #winwin all round. As hosts, we will aim to retweet your posts again as we read them, as long as you have included your twitter handle in your sharing buttons.
*By linking up, you agree to your link being visible and accessible via the list of linked blog posts included below, to us sharing your posts on social media (tagging you as relevant), and to us sharing your post on our sites if chosen as a favourite. You are also giving us permission to send you an email and/or tweet reminder for the #DreamTeam each week.
If you are new to linkies I have written a separate post with all of the how-to stuff here which might be handy.
MY FAVOURITE POSTS FROM LAST WEEK:
As Louise points out, this month has seen us celebrate International Day of the Woman and Mothers Day. This post so perfectly captures all of the things that we should feel so proud about as women today. It also reflects on the amazing, fierce and strong young ladies that so many of us are now raising of our own.
This week sees our biggest little take on her first “decorate a hard-boiled egg to bring to school” challenge, and so this post is like a gift for me. I’ll be following it to the letter! For anyone else that is embracing their Easter crafty side: Grab your hairdryers and let’s do this!
