I am thrilled to have been nominated for the Dragon loyalty award by the brilliant writer of It’s good to be crazy sometimes.
A huge thank you goes out to her, not only for the nomination but also for her support and encouragement to me as a brand new blogger just a few weeks ago.
I would recommend that you check out her blog which is humorous, witty and honest, and talks about the challenges faced by a person with disabilities trying to navigate through the mindfield of the British benefits system.
This is what the creator said about the award: The Dragon’s Loyalty Award is an award for the loyal fan/commenters, whether a fellow blogger or someone who follows and comments regularly.
Rules for the award:
Accept the award with thanks.
Give your readers 5 facts about you.
Nominate other bloggers and let them know.
Right so five facts about me….
I am rubbish at driving, and I make my husband drive me anywhere new that I may have to go as a practice run before I do it on my own. (Sorry hubby).
I used to be a “cruise specialist” which involved going on a lot of free cruises (and free champagne). I left that job. Still not sure why???
My nickname is “Prawny”.
My other nickname is “May” As I am apparently very similar to James May of what was Top Gear. (Probably something to do with the speed at which I drive).
I have a cat called “Stitch” and three goldfish – all called “Bob”.
So now I have to nominate people. I can think of quite a lot of people who have been a great support to me in my blogging adventures so far (Thank you to you all!) However 6 is my lucky number and so I would like to nominate 6 bloggers who are all new but valued connections, and all very fabulous….
Please hop over to their pages and I hope that you’ll enjoy their blogs as much as I do.
UPDATE 02 Oct….
OK so I’m not sure if this is allowed, however it has come to my attention that a very lovely blogger out there has never received a nomination for this award. I personally found this hard to believe as she is a wonderful and talented writer who writes about a brilliant range of topics from mental health posts to tasty recipes, and even customer service (or the lack of in this particular case – we connected over a mutual love of cheesy garlic bread haha). Her blog is called…
The Anxious Dragon
Which is why I could not believe that she has not received this award, and having found out just a fraction too late, I felt it necessary to rectify this situation immediately and sneak in a 7th nomination.
Simply because Anxious Dragon’s are very loyal indeed!
Thanks for reading! :0)
